Love Note Minis and Falling Back in Love With Creating

Love Note Minis were really special for me. This was the first set I created as a back again photographer in a studio, and honestly, it felt so good to be back in that space creating something from scratch. Building this set reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

I had so much fun designing the Love Note set. From choosing the colors to styling the details, I poured a lot of heart into making it feel romantic, cozy, and a little magical. Seeing it come together in the studio was exciting, but what made it even better was watching people connect with it and actually want photos in the space I created.

As a Wichita photographer, being able to build a set and see clients light up when they walk in is one of my favorite parts of the job. Love Note Minis weren’t just about pretty photos. They were about creating a feeling. I wanted the set to feel warm, intimate, and easy so couples and families could just be themselves and enjoy the moment.

Being back in a studio and creating again made me really happy. It reminded me how much I love designing sets that people feel comfortable in and excited to photograph in. Love Note Minis were a small but meaningful step forward for me, and seeing how much people loved the set made all the time and effort worth it.

I’m so grateful to everyone who trusted me with their photos and helped bring this set to life. Creating spaces people love and want memories in is what keeps me inspired, and Love Note Minis were just the beginning. 💗

I’ll let you in on a secret: The main reason The Bexx Collective exists is because of the photos I don't have.

Growing up, life moved fast, and cameras were put away. Today, I don’t have those classic, beautiful portraits of me with my mom, or me with my dad. I know exactly what it feels like to look back at a chapter of your life and realize there’s no visual record of the love, the laughter, or the people who meant the world to you.
