Bestie Paint Sesh in Wichita – A Colorful Photography Experience

Some photo sessions are calm and polished.And then there are sessions like this one… colorful, messy, full of laughter, and honestly way too much fun!!!

This Bestie Paint Sesh was exactly the kind of session I love creating as a Wichita photographer. Instead of standing still and posing the whole time, the goal was simple. Paint, laugh, and just enjoy the moment together.

When people hear “photo session,” they sometimes imagine stiff poses and serious smiles. But sessions like this are the opposite. The paint brings out playful energy immediately. The second the colors start flying, everyone relaxes. That’s when the real moments happen.

These two absolutely leaned into the vibe. Paint on their hands, paint on their shirts, paint on the backdrop… and a lot of laughing in between. The best part is that nothing feels forced. When people are having fun, the expressions are real, the movement feels natural, and the photos end up feeling alive.

As a Wichita photographer, I love creating experiences like this because it gives people something to do during their session.
